Car Park
Competitors may use the main car park. An overflow facility is also available. The Scottish Golf Union and Golf House Club, Elie cannot accept responsibility for any damage to cars.

Catering
Catering will be available all day from clubhouse opening, served in the extended dining-room. All catering is at the competitor's expense.

Clubhouse
The clubhouse will be open 1 hour prior to the first tee time. The use of the clubhouse and facilities will be open to all players, guests, media and visitors.

In all clubhouse areas and on the course casual wear is acceptable for competitors but must be smart. THE WEARING OF JEANS, SLEEVELESS OR COLLARLESS SHIRTS AND TRAINING SHOES IS NOT PERMITTED. Tailored shorts can be worn on the course but must also be worn with knee length socks.

Golf shoes may be worn within the locker rooms but are not permitted to be worn in any other areas within the Clubhouse.

MOBILE PHONES MUST BE SWITCHED OFF IN THE CLUBHOUSE AND ON THE COURSE.

Changing facilities are available in the Gents Locker Rooms. There are no lockers for hire. There are showers available, however only a limited number of towels will be provided by the club.

Yardage Books and Caddie Cars
Yardage books are available for purchase and trolleys are available for hire, trolleys will be provided on a first come first served basis.

Registration & Play
Competitors must register at least 30 minutes prior to their morning starting times at the SGU Championship Office. Each competitor will be issued with a copy of the local rules, pin positions and pace of play guidelines when registering.

COMPETITORS MUST REPORT TO THE OFFICIAL STARTER AT THE FIRST TEE 5 MINUTES BEFORE THEY ARE DUE TO PLAY. Competitors are reminded that under the penalty for a breach of Rule 6-3a, if the player arrives at his starting point, ready to play, within five minutes after his starting time, the penalty for failure to start on time is two strokes at the first hole in stroke play. Otherwise, the penalty for breach of the Rule is disqualification.

Etiquette
In the interests of all, each competitor should play without delay, leave a bunker as he would expect to find it, replace divots and repair pitch marks. During practice players should only one ball in play. Exception: in the event a player misses the green with his approach shot he may put another ball into play.

Practice
The official practice day is Tuesday 18 June. Players wishing to book a practice round must contact the club directly (01333 330301). Practice time will be issued on a first come first served basis.

Anyone who is unable to play on the official practice day may contact the club and at their discretion, book an alternative time.

Anyone wishing to book an additional practice round will be subject to a discounted green fee of £50.00.
Pace of play
Players will be required to read the SGU pace of play guidelines prior to registering at the Championship Office. Full guidelines are also available on the SGU 2013 Rules Hard Card.

The SGU Pace of Play Policy will be implemented for the duration of the championship with roving referees on course to enforce any necessary actions.

Presentation
There will be an official prize presentation at the conclusion of play on Friday 21 June, all prize winners are expected to attend.

Responsibility
Golf House Club, Elie and the Scottish Golf Union cannot accept responsibility for players’ property during the event.

Location
Travelling from Edinburgh
Cross the Forth Road bridge and take the A92 to Kirkcaldy. From Kirkcaldy follow the coast road passing through the Fife coastal towns of Leven and Lundin Links, Elie is approximately 8 miles from here.

Travelling from Perth
Take the M90 sign posted Edinburgh before taking exit 9 towards Bridge of Earn, Glenfarg. From here continue towards Glenrothes. From here continue to Leven before following directions to Lundin Links and Elie.

Travelling from Dundee cross the Tay Road Bridge and follow signs to St Andrews. On exiting St Andrews take the Fife coastal road following signs for Anstruther. From here take the A917 to Elie which is approximately 6 miles from here.
